The Auburn City Board of Education approved their September financial statement and more at Tuesday’s meeting.
The total revenue and other funding sources in the general fund amounted to $133.39 million or 100.49% of their budget.
Expenditures and other fund uses amounted to $114.71 million, or 87.17% of the budget, and any fund balance on September 30 was $55.96 million.
As of Sept. 30, reconciled cash balances amounted to $78.65 million.
Expenditures for the month totaled $6.72 million; gross payroll amounted to $5.83 million; and employer matching benefits totaled $2.05 million. Revenues collected in September amounted to $8.7 million.
Other BOE business
Auburn City Board of Education approved the bid for ice cream and supplemental groceries from Osborn Brothers, Inc. for the 2024-25 school year.
The board also approved change order one from SKC Construction, Inc. to close out the toilet renovations project at JF Drake Middle School.
