Harvey fire officials are investigating the cause of a massive commercial structure fire that started inside an automotive repair shop.According to fire officials, the fire started around 6:07 p.m. at the shop in the 1800 block of Commercial Drive. Chief Stephen Guidroz with the Marrero-Harvey Fire Department said when crews arrived, they found the building engulfed with a heavy fire, saying they called for a second alarm around 6:32 p.m.”When we arrived on scene, we had a lot of fire. We actually had the walls collapse and the amount of fire load made some of the metal beams start to fail. That’s what led to the sagging on the roof,” Guidroz said.He said a total of 60 firefighters were on scene battling the fire, including personnel from Harvey, Westwego, Avondale and Terrytown.Guidroz told WDSU, no one was inside the building at the time the walls collapse because of the fire …
