Professional services firm Azets Ireland has been announced as the new sponsor of DCU Sport.
In addition to acting as the main shirt sponsor of DCU teams, Azets will fund DCU Sport‘s scholarship fund and other programme costs such as coaching and specialist equipment.
It will also sponsor the DCU Sports Scholarships Awards Event.
DCU Sport scholarships are intended to support the development of talented athletes while balancing sporting and academic commitments.
Recipients across Gaelic football, athletics, hurling, camogie, basketball and rugby have support services and expertise tailored to their individual needs as part of the athlete-led development programme.
DCU currently has more than 40 sports clubs across a range of disciplines and catering to students of all capabilities from casual players to elite athletes.
At the 2024 Paris Olympics, DCU had two current students and 10 alumni representing Team Ireland in rugby 7s, boxing, swimming and athletics.
