Bangor’s waterfront is set to see even more development with the upcoming expansion of Bangor Savings Bank’s corporate campus on Hamlin Way.
BANGOR, Maine — The Maine Savings Amphitheater’s successful summer concert series and other events have already brought lots of changes to the area, transforming the Bangor waterfront into a hub for iconic businesses.
“There’s just been incredible growth and that as an asset has been something that many more businesses have been able to build around,” Lundy said.
Now, Bangor Savings Bank plans to build a new five-story, more than 47,000-square-foot office building to support its expanding workforce.
“Those are people who are down here, they’re part of a captive audience that goes out to lunch, that goes out for a drink after work, that hits up some of the stores located downtown, so anytime you drop a new workforce into downtown it has a ripple effect,” Lundy …
