Some mid-Michigan small businesses are getting a financial boost thanks to the Match on Main grant from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation.
BAY CITY, Mic. (WJRT) – Some mid-Michigan small businesses are getting a financial boost thanks to the Match on Main grant from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation.
One of those receiving the funds — The Wanigan Eatery and Pub in Bay City on S. Wenona Street.
Owner Mike Dufresne said the grant money came at an ideal time and the funds have already begun being put to use.
Match on Main is a program helps create good-paying jobs and support to small businesses in our state.
Governor Whitmer recently announced funding for 31 small businesses and over $748,000 awarded in total.
The Wanigan received $25,000.
