Beauparc to invest over 300m in recycling facilities [Video]

Irish waste management group Beauparc has announced it plans to invest more than €300 million in its facilities over the next four years.

The company said the funding will not only create hundreds of jobs across the group but also enhance their ability to recycle plastic.

It will also expand its overall handling capacity, improve its existing processing capabilities, and enhance the business’s role in the circular economy. 

About €160m is being invested in Ireland, where Beauparc operates subsidiaries such as Panda, Greenstar and Irish Packaging Recycling (IPR). 

Beauparc, which was established in Co. Meath over 30 years ago, currently has almost 3,000 employees across 70 locations in Ireland, Britain and the Netherlands.

The planned investment programme will further boost employment in the sector, creating approximately 500 new jobs across the group.
