Beekmantown High School boys’ and girls’ ice hockey teams will look to defend their titles as sectional champions after claiming them in the 2024-2025 season. Beekmantown boys’ ice hockey is looking to secure the sectional threepeat with a new flock of Eagles in its nest. After their dominant 9-0 shutout win against Saranac Lake – Lake Placid High School in the Section VII championship, Beekmantown will look to run it back, losing six players from last year’s championship team. Sam Bingel, Keegin Rodier, Zach Lapier and Caden Columbus all graduated in 2024. Two others, Louis Sweenor and Ryan Demers, both left Beekmantown to pursue prep high school hockey opportunities.
