Beeville company helps transport prisoners [Video]

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — United States Prisoner Transport based in Beeville is one of only four companies in the country that will pick up prisoner’s nationwide.

One of three owners of the two-year-old startup, Greg Baron, told 3NEWS it’s a growing industry and that has helped to rapidly expand their business.

The company only operates out of Beeville and is trying to do the mundane work that will help free up officers to continue to fight crime on the streets.

If you find yourself on the wrong side of the law, Evangelina Rodriguez might be one of those United States Prisoner Transport agents who will eventually pick you up and take you to jail.
