Birmingham businesses urged to register their business in new tax software before September deadline [Video]

Birmingham is now converting their tax software in an effort to streamline the tax process for businesses here in the city.

The change is estimated to impact close to 35,000 different business owners here in the city of Birmingham.

City officials say their partnership with HdL Companies will better customer service and streamline the tax process for businesses in Birmingham. It will allow business owners to pay with e checks now as well

The window to register for the new system opened just this week, and if you are an existing business owner, you need to register your business by September 6th. Birmingham tax officials say failing to do so will cost you valuable time in the future.
