Blue Peter icon Katy Hill rose to prominence in the late 90s but has since left her television and radio career behind for a completely new venture.

The 53-year-old star was a fixture on the beloved CBBC show from 1995 to 2000, before transitioning to BBC One’s Live and Kicking until 2001. Known for her daring stunts on Blue Peter, she even became the first civilian to fly with the Red Arrows.

Her time on the children’s show opened up more opportunities, leading her to host Top of the Pops, Football Fever, BBC‘s Holiday and her own weekend show on Capital FM. Katy also regularly contributed to glossy magazines like Cosmopolitan Hair and Beauty, Hello! and Closer, and in 2004, she secured second place on Channel 4’s The Games.
