The mayor of Bogalusa has taken to social media once again amid an investigation into allegations of drug and prostitution charges. Bogalusa Mayor Tyrin Truong posted bail after he was arrested along with several others in connection with the investigation by Louisiana State Police last week. Truong took to social media to ask for the public’s help in financing his legal defense. His post linked to an online fundraiser and read: “When you made history by electing me as the youngest mayor in the country on Nov 8, 2022 we all knew there would be challenges, but none of us expected this—including me.
