Breeze Airways adding nonstop route between Akron-Canton and Sarasota, Florida [Video]

GREEN, Ohio — Breeze Airways is adding another nonstop route at the Akron-Canton Airport, this one to Sarasota, Florida.

The new route will run twice per week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, starting Nov. 20.

Meanwhile, the carrier recently paused nonstop service between the Akron-Canton Airport and West Palm Beach, Florida.

Breeze made the new route announcement Wednesday, along with news of a 35% off sale on all routes, including CAK to Sarasota.

Lisa Dalpiaz, vice president of air service and business development at Akron-Canton, said the community is grateful for Breeze’s continued growth.

“Sarasota is a top destination from our region, and we’re confident travelers will be delighted with additional nonstop options paired with an easy, quick airport experience,” she said.

The new route will make 10 nonstop Breeze destinations at Akron-Canton. The carrier also flies nonstop to nearby Fort Myers, Florida, which is about 80 miles south of Sarasota, and Tampa, which is about …
