PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – Temperatures are finally warming up slightly after a very cold start to December.

Heading into Saturday night some spots in the MOV may fall below freezing. But the majority of the MOV should not fall below 32 degrees.

The warm-up will be brief as two rounds of rain will come through Monday and Tuesday. The rain on Tuesday will bring a cold front that drops us back into the 30s and 40s for the remainder of the week.

But for those who do not like the cold. More warmer temperatures are on the way. There are signals for a longer return to the 40s heading into next weekend. Whether this sticks or not will become more apparent over the next few days.
