Broncos’ Bo Nix is Moving Towards Locking Up Starting Quarterback Position [Video]

The Denver Broncos entered the 2024 offseason with a big question at quarterback. The team allowed Russell Wilson to walk in free agency, as he joined the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Wilson’s exit left the Broncos with Jared Stidham, who took over for Wilson when he was benched at the end of the 2023 season. The Broncos then addressed their lack of quarterback depth by bringing in former New York Jets quarterback, Zach Wilson, and drafted Oregon’s Bo Nix at No. 12 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft.

The Broncos were rumored to want to move up to draft one of the other top-quality quarterback prospects, but they stood pat and took Nix instead. Initially, Nix was not showing the makings of a starter during rookie minicamp — but that tune has changed in training camp.
