HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — This Friday’s winter weather saw most of the Tennessee Valley close for the weekend. Families hunkered down at home to enjoy the snow day, but local businesses are now looking to return to normalcy as people are getting out and about again.
For the most part, people heeded the warnings to stay home on Friday. But because of that, small businesses in the region lost time and profits during the snowstorm. For some locally owned businesses, that can mean the difference between staying open and closing for good.
