Carolina Panthers favored for first time as they host Dallas Cowboys in Week 15 [Video]

The Panthers opened as a 1.5-point favorite for Sunday’s home game against the Dallas Cowboys. And while it might feel like a Cowboys home game with their fans packing Bank of America Stadium, Carolina has the respect of Las Vegas oddsmakers. 

It’s the first time the Panthers have entered a game as the betting favorite since Week 15 of the 2022-23 season against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Carolina lost that game 24-16. 

You have to go all the way back to Week 3 of 2021 to find the last time Carolina covered the spread as a favorite, defeating the Houston Texans 24-9 as an 8-point favorite with Sam Darnold as quarterback. So yeah, it’s been a while.
