Catalyst brings together venture capital investors and NI start-ups in Belfast [Video]

Investors from 48 venture capital firms in Ireland and the UK attended Catalyst‘s annual Inbound Investors event at Ulster University’s new campus in Belfast last week.

Northern Ireland’s non-profit science and technology hub arranged for the VCs to meet with 50 local fast-growing start-up and scale-up companies to discuss investments of up to £10m.

JP Morgan, Cornerstone and Atlantic Bridge were among the investors either attending for the first time or reacquainting themselves with Inbound Investors.

Participating companies included TeamFeePay, Inclutech, Neurovalens and Mantis Live, but a number of sectors were represented at the event, ranging from health and life sciences to greentech and enterprise software.

“Northern Ireland has continued to buck the trend and grow its Venture Capital investment in the last number of years,” said Hannah Cummings, scaling programme manager at Catalyst.
