Changes coming Jan. 2 to Stevens Point bus routes [Video]

STEVENS POINT, Wis. (WSAW) – Starting Thursday, city bus riders in Stevens Point will notice route changes.

Central Transportation will make changes to the orange and green routes.

Starting Jan. 2, the Green Route (#1) will follow the same stops but in reverse order. The Orange Route (#8) has been expanded to include a stop at The Grove — a 55+ apartment complex. The city said riders should check the updated schedule to ensure timely arrivals.

• The Orange Route will travel down Maria Drive by The Birkshire at the Grove on its way back to the Transfer Station.
• It will no longer pass through the university on this portion of the route.

The city has eight bus routes.
