CHICO, Calif. – A Chico State student is helping local businesses grow with a new app called Dibbs.

If you want to save money while also shopping locally, the app Dibbs is perfect for you.

JJ Arciga, the app developer, tells Action News Now that Dibbs connects people with local businesses by offering exclusive deals that they can’t find anywhere else.

“It allows for the businesses to advertise for free; users are able to scroll through all the exclusive deals on our app that are offered by these businesses, and they can call dibs on them before they are gone, and then they get into the store and claim those deals,” Arciga said.
