UNTIL AT LEAST FEBRUARY. A NORTH CAROLINA NONPROFIT IS CONTINUING TO LEND A HELPING HAND TO FAMILIES IMPACTED BY HURRICANE HELENE. SAMARITAN’S PURSE IS BASED OUT OF BOONE, NORTH CAROLINA. THE VICE PRESIDENT OF NORTH AMERICAN MINISTRIES SAYS THE ORGANIZATION HAS WORKED ALL ACROSS THE COUNTRY AND THE WORLD, HELPING WITH DISASTER RECOVERY. THEY ARE CURRENTLY OFFERING CLEANUP ACROSS NORTH CAROLINA AND SEVERAL COUNTIES IN THE WESTERN PART OF THE STATE. THIS IS US GOING OUT TO HELP OUR NEIGHBOR, TO SHOW THEM THAT GOD HAS NOT FORGOTTEN THEM, THAT WE’RE GOING TO COME ALONGSIDE OF THEM AND MUCK OUT THEIR HOMES, CUT THE TREES, TARP THE ROOFS, PROVIDE WHATEVER RESOURCES WE CAN TO HELP THEM IN THE CLEANUP SIDE.
