COTALAND is under construction, but there is no set date for its completion.
AUSTIN, Texas — Circuit of the Americas is hoping to raise $65 million to build its long-awaited COTALAND amusement park.
A pair of filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission detail that Delaware-based COTA Emerald Fund LP has already raised $46,460,000 of the total sum. Roughly $36.5 million of that is from a group of 14 unidentified investors and $10 million is from one single unidentified investor.
COTA’s general counsel told the Austin Business Journal in an email that the money is from a recent fundraiser “in connection with amusement park construction,” declining to comment further except to say COTA plans to “share the development with Austin in 2025.”

Circuit of the Americas said in July that its Palindrome coaster was under construction. The 51 mph, 95-foot-tall ride will be part of COTALAND, which doesn’t have a set completion date.
