Clouds increase today ahead of rain and cooler temperatures | Forecast [Video]

After a bright and sunny beautiful start to the morning, we’ll see increasing cloud cover throughout the day. A cold front moving across the area tonight into tomorrow will bring the chance for rain and cool us down quite a bit for a couple of days.

Highs today will be in the lower 80s with a SSW wind at 5-10mph. We’re starting off with clear skies before clouds arrive. A few showers are possible this afternoon and evening, but the main chance for rain is tonight.

Scattered showers and storms, with nothing severe expected, will move across the state overnight. Temps will fall to near 60 with winds shifting to the W.
