Just months after Coca-Cola revealed its first new “permanent” flavor in years, that flavor is going away.
The Atlanta beverage giant confirmed Tuesday that Coca-Cola Spiced is getting discontinued.
“We’re always looking at what our consumers like and adjusting our range of products. As part of this strategy, we’re planning to phase out Coca-Cola Spiced to introduce an exciting new flavor in 2025,” a Coca-Cola Company spokesperson said in a statement.
The end of Coca-Cola Spiced is particularly noteworthy because it was introduced in February 2024 as the company’s first new permanent offering to its North American portfolio in three years.
The company on Tuesday did not provide any reason for the change or any details about what flavor could be taking its place in the lineup next year.
