The average high for the first two weeks of 2025 has been about 11 degrees colder than last year.
NORFOLK, Va. — If you thought this year has been cooler than usual or even colder than last year, you would be correct! For the first two weeks of January, temperatures have averaged about 44 degrees when our average high is in the lower 50s. But if you compare this year to last year, temperatures averaged to be about 55 degrees for 2024.
If we take a look at each day from January 1, 2025, to January 14, 2025, 10 out of the 12 days have been below average and we have had five days where high temperatures were only in the 30s.
