Comfortable Fall Weather Settling In [Video]

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A nice start this morning with temperatures in the mid to upper 50s. Some of you may want a light jacket as you head out! We will warm up slowly to the upper 70s and low 80s this afternoon. Sunshine remains plentiful.

Sunshine will be abundant throughout our First Alert Forecast. Rain chances stay near zero for the next 10 days, so we will look closely for any chances over the coming weeks. Fortunately, it will not be too hot across the area with more fall-like air expected to move in next week.

Speaking of our fall forecast, temperatures will stay near normal for the rest of this week. Some places could see highs in the mid-80s again over the weekend, but another front is expected early next week. This next front should knock us down to the mid and upper 70s for highs and keep …
