Cool front headed for southern Alta. starting Sunday [Video]

It was a gorgeous final Friday of 2024 for much of southern Alberta. In Calgary, westerly winds and lots of sunshine warmed us up to a high of 6 C this afternoon.

It will be pretty mild overnight, but winds out of the north will cool us down to a low of -4 with mainly clear conditions.

Saturday is looking pretty stable for Calgary, with a mix of sun and cloud throughout the day and another above-seasonal forecast high of 3 C. 

We will start to see the transition to cooler temperatures heading into Sunday.
