OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Officials have placed Douglas County under a burn ban starting Sunday, January 12.
Douglas County Fire Chief Representative Travis Harlow told First Alert 6 the ban is being set in place due to “continued dry and windy weather conditions.
According to Harlow, the ban will be lifted until more moisture comes through the metro area.
