Downtown Bangor business finds new location on Main Street [Video]

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) – A Downtown Bangor business has a new home just down the street from its former location.

Jess Stuart opened her spray tan salon, Glowgetters, in 2021. Since then she’s expanded her small business empire, which now includes a skincare line, and most recently, a consignment shop called Cool Girl Collective.

It’s no surprise the space she was operating in started feeling a little small.

When the property that used to house Queen City Cinema Club came open, Jess jumped at the chance to relocate.

“When I was looking for a place I knew I wanted to be in Downtown Bangor because I love the Downtown Bangor Council and I love being a part of Downtown Bangor. But I also needed to have a parking lot for the spray tans. So, this ended up being a gem,” Stuart said.

The shop opened earlier this week at 128 Main Street in Bangor.
