Dry & Chilly Today… Light Snow Likely Tonight [Video]

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) – High pressure will build into the area today giving us a nice start to the work week. We’ll see a mix of sun and clouds today with the brightest conditions being this morning followed by more clouds moving in as the afternoon progresses. Temperatures today will be in the mid-20s to low 30s for highs. Weak low pressure approaching the region tonight will bring us a period of light snow developing during the first half of the night and continuing through daybreak. There’s a slight chance we may see some light icy mix near the coastline towards daybreak otherwise expecting all snow through the nighttime hours. Light accumulations can be expected on the order of 1″-3″ for most locales with some 4″ amounts possible in areas south and west of Bangor.
