Dry, hot & windy Sunday, then a cooler start to October! [Video]

OVERNIGHT – SUNDAY:Saturday continued the trend of summer-like weather that persisted over the past few days, as temperatures reached the mid-to-upper-80s and skies were clear and sunny. Overnight, skies will be clear, with light winds, so expect a quiet night. By Sunday morning, temperatures will be in the low-to-mid-50s, above average for this time of year. During the afternoon hours, a low-pressure system from Canada will bring strong south-southeasterly winds into our region. Humidity levels will also be in the 25-35% range, which means our region will be very dry. As a result, there is a risk of fire getting out of control in some parts of ND, so we’ll be keeping an eye on the risk. However, it does mean you’ll want to limit burning things or grilling.
