KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — On Friday, the United States Surgeon General warned Americans that alcohol consumption can increase the risk of certain cancers. Health experts have long linked alcohol consumption to other health issues like high blood pressure and weight gain.
With that, some people have already started the journey to limit their alcohol intake this month for “Dry January.” It has gained popularity over the last few years, as people want a healthy start to the new year. But, does it actually work?
