MARIETTA, Ohio (WTAP) – Ohioans can begin in-person early voting on Tuesday, Oct. 8.
Oct. 7 is the last day for voter registration. Voters can register in person at the Board of Elections office between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. on that day.
In person early voting begins the next day at the Board of Elections office between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Board of Elections Director Mandy Amos said they’re prepared for a large turnout both during early voting and on election day.
“We are anticipating a lot pf people to come into our office to vote,” Amos said. “So, we just want people–we have a fairly large parking lot, but just to be careful in the parking lot coming in, for people walking through the parking lot, other voters.
