TYLER, Texas — The weather is starting to cool down, and one East Texas nonprofit is making sure all children stay nice and warm during those chilly months.
For over 35 years, PATH has been helping children stay warm through its annual coat drive. This year, nearly 1,000 children are registered to receive new winter coats.
The distribution is set for Nov. 16 at First Presbyterian Church in Tyler. PATH is need of youth medium through adult extra large sizes.
Children can search through the coats and find the perfect fit and one that matches their style.
Executive Director Andrea Wilson-Lovaugh said right now, there is a shortage of coats for older boys.
