Ilan Tevet , VP of Sales and Marketing, provided an update to Steve Darling from Proactive on the company’s progress regarding its $1.05 million licensing agreement with a Tier-1 U.S.-based aerospace systems provider. Ethernity Networks, a leading supplier of data processing semiconductor technology for networking appliances, secured the deal to deliver its specialized silicon-tuned software, which will enable advanced networking functionalities on the aerospace company’s unique platform.
Levi explained that the U.S. Government, as part of its review process for foreign suppliers in aerospace projects, has granted approval for Ethernity to deliver its intellectual property. This approval clears the way for the project to move into its implementation phase, triggering an immediate payment for the milestones already achieved, which account for 40% of the contract value.
Tevet further discussed the growing demand for optimized network solutions, which Ethernity plans to meet by developing an ASIC in collaboration with industry partners. This solution promises enhanced performance at a lower cost, which could drive significant growth for the company. Additionally, he touched on the opportunities arising from closing the digital divide and how Ethernity’s solutions are positioned to support broadband infrastructure developments, especially in underserved regions.
