MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – While Wednesday is going to be slightly cooler than Tuesday, it won’t be a big enough difference to really notice that, a difference.
Afternoon highs are going to have a bit of a range around the Mid-South on Wednesday. Some of the northern towns/cities/counties around the Mid-South will stay below 40° while along Highway 278 in Mississippi will climb into the lower 50s. Fortunately, all around the Mid-South, mostly sunny to sunny skies are going to prevail throughout the day. The reason for the cooler temperatures is due to northerly winds, as a cold front delivered some colder temperatures to the Mid-South.
Southerly winds are going to return for Thursday and Friday. That will allow temperatures to climb about 10°, which means middle to upper 50s around the region. These will be the first days of above average temperatures in almost two weeks, so that will be a nice change of …
