TULSA, Okla. — Fire crews responded to a small fire inside a midtown Tulsa business on Monday morning.

Tulsa Fire said they responded to Ida Red near East 33rd Place and South Peoria Avenue around 9:45 a.m.

Crews on scene told FOX23 it was a small fire that was on a table with decorations on it inside the business.

Tulsa Fire said there was no serious damage other than maybe some smoke damage to some of the materials inside the business.

Ida Red released the following statement in a Facebook post on Monday:

“Due to a recent fire, our Brookside location is temporarily closed until further updates. In the meantime, our Arts District Downtown and South Yale stores are open and we would greatly appreciate your support now more than ever.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, Tulsa Fire said.

FOX23 will continue to provide updates as they become available.
