Nebraska City residents started seeing flurries around 4pm Saturday, giving them some room to prepare ahead of time.
Temperatures will continue to be cold in the teens, but eventually warming back up to normal next weekend.
Monday is still a First Alert 6 Weather Day for frigid wind chills below zero degrees.
Snow showers are still possible with heavier snow further south.
The bulk of the heavy snow will occur overnight into Sunday morning creating dangerous travel.
Cold temperatures will stay through Wednesday then we start improving back to normal by next weekend.
