First Alert Forecast | Mostly dry weather pattern hangs-on [Video]

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – High pressure is in control of the First Alert Forecast as we slide into the new workweek. Plan on seasonably hot temperatures and only a limited chance of rain through the middle of the week.

Under lots of sunshine, temperatures are peaking in the low to mid-90s across metro Atlanta. Humidity remains low, roughly, along and northwest of I-85. The air feels drier in this area. It may not feel as warm as what your phone says. Further southeast, it’s muggier. It’ll feel hotter than 100 around Lakes Sinclair and Oconee through early evening. Only a spotty shower or storm is expected through sunset. The chance of isolated rain is confined to areas east of Atlanta.

Temperatures gradually cool through the 80s and back into the 70s this evening. It’ll feel pleasant, by August standards.
