JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Tonight: A quiet evening is in store for central and southwest Mississippi as temperatures cool off back into the middle and upper 60s. Partly cloudy skies will carry into the overnight hours and for the start to your Sunday morning.

Sunday: Another warm day is in store for Sunday with highs topping out in the upper 80s with mostly sunny skies. It may feel a bit muggy at times over the course of the afternoon, but no rain is expected. Temperatures Sunday evening will still be above average bottoming out in the low 70s.

Extended forecast: The start to next week will still be on the warmer side with afternoon highs in the middle to upper 80s. Changes are on the way as a cold front is expected to move in late Monday and into Tuesday. Fall-like temperatures will be back with morning lows in the …
