SUNDAY: Clouds return with an approaching system – leading to rain ramping up through the day. With the surge of moisture, we’ll claw our way into the lower to middle 50s by sunset – continuing an upward trend into the upper 50s through midnight as warm air continues to invade. A few widely scattered showers early turn more widespread into the afternoon and evening hours – at times, coming down heavily. Rain will tend to taper in coverage after midnight.
MONDAY: Rain coverage shifts east through Monday morning – though, the warmer air continues to push us into the 60s through the afternoon hours. Lingering moisture will keep widely spaced showers in play Monday night into early Tuesday. Lows will drop into the middle and upper 40s.
