First Alert: Rain showers, thunderstorms return on Monday evening while cooler temperatures arrive on Wednesday [Video]

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A pair of cold fronts are going to bring some changes to the weather pattern around the Mid-South through Wednesday.

Monday is going to be pretty similar to Sunday. Plenty of clouds will be around the Mid-South, but generally dry conditions and well above average temperatures are expected. Afternoon highs will mainly be in the middle 70s, which is about 10° above average. Two big reasons for these warm temperatures will be due to the cloud coverage as well as breezy southerly winds. 10-20 mph sustained winds are expected for the majority of the day on Monday.

As Monday night turns into Tuesday morning, a cold front is going to swing through the Mid-South.
