BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – We are tracking a cold front to our north that is providing us with increasing clouds this morning. The clouds will be short-lived as they move out of here by the evening hours. We will likely remain partly cloudy this afternoon. The air remains too dry to support rain today. Temperatures may trend a few degrees warmer than yesterday with highs in the mid 50s. Winds today are forecast to come from the west-northwest at 5-10 mph. If you have any evening plans, you’ll need the jacket as temperatures cool into the lower 40s by 7 p.m. CST. It’ll be chilly and mostly clear if you plan on attending the Tree Lighting Ceremony at City Walk in Birmingham this evening.
