First Alert Weather Days today through Tuesday due to dangerous heat [Video]

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Another round of dangerous heat settles in for the start of the new week, prompting three First Alert Weather Days.

Today kicks off a three-day stretch of First Alert Weather Days as heat takes another turn toward dangerous levels. Mostly sunny skies will quickly heat things up, with temperatures climbing into the middle and upper 90s by early-afternoon. Increasing humidity will push heat indices above 100°, possible even as high as 105° across the Upstate, making it dangerous to be outdoors. Isolated showers or thunderstorms will be possible, but don’t expect them to provide much in the way of cooling.
