BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Happy Sunday! We likely saw the coldest air we’ll see for the rest of December. Most of us woke up to temperatures in the low to mid 20s today. We have high pressure in place keeping us dry and sunny. We are looking at a sunny afternoon. High temperatures are forecast to warm into the upper 40s and lower 50s. The wind won’t be as breezy today. We will likely see east-northeast winds at 5-10 mph. If you have any evening plans, you’ll want to hold on to the coat. Temperatures will likely cool into the upper 30s by 7 p.m. CST. Freezing temperatures will be possible tonight with lows dropping into the upper 20s and lower 30s.
