BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Business owners in the Southside area of Birmingham are concerned because many of their customers have not returned since Saturday’s shooting. They believe to keep their businesses open, this situation needs to change.
Ace Graham, who owns Alchemy, is determined not to let this tragedy define Five Points South. He has been in business for five years and hosts a run club multiple times a week that starts around 8 p.m.
Despite the recent violence, about 50 people still showed up on Sunday night for the club, and dozens more attended throughout the week. His business is still staying afloat, and he wants to encourage other business owners and remind them that things will get better.
