Flint organization speaks on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion | News [Video]

FLINT, Mich. (WJRT)—In the first days of his second term, President Donald Trump is already making changes to the federal government’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs.

In addition, the executive orders signed by Trump also put government DEI workers on paid administrative leave.

President Trump’s recent actions could affect larger companies that generate billions of dollars, schools, and others.

In Genesee County, places like The Flint and Genesee Group is not backed by the government, and its doing what it can to help create a racially just community.

“I think you can get more comprehensive and effective policies and solve problems differently when you have representation of diverse teams, diverse viewpoints and experiences at the table.”
