A flooring business has filed for bankruptcy and is closing dozens of stores.
LL Flooring announced that it had commenced voluntary Chapter 11 reorganization proceedings in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware in order to pursue a sale of the business.
The company said it remains in active negotiations with multiple bidders and hopes to seek approval of a sale of its business from the bankruptcy court in the first few weeks of the Chapter 11 proceedings.
