Jacquelynn Whitehurst is still repairing her home after it was flooded by the impacts of Hurricane Ian in 2022. Osceola County is considering options, including millions in funding, to help alleviate the flooding concerns seen during Ian. However, Jacquelynn said she’s considering her options, including possibly leaving the state, especially after 2024’s Atlantic Hurricane Season is already off to an active start with a historic category 5 storm already on the books.
