Scattered showers are continuing this evening but will start to dry up overnight.
Tuesday will be mostly dry and mostly cloudy. There is the potential for a few isolated sprinkles, but overall, Tuesday will be much drier than Monday.
Temperatures will also be slightly warmer with morning temps near 60 degrees and afternoon temps in the lower 70s.
Wednesday will be the driest and sunniest day of the week. Rain chances return Thursday afternoon and we will track scattered showers into the weekend.
This is much needed rainfall considering there had been no measurable rainfall at the Columbia Regional Airport for all of September until Saturday.
