A former Milwaukee Bucks role player wing-turned-shrewd business entrepreneur is returning to his old team in a fresh role.

Longtime NBA small forward Junior Bridgeman, now 70, is buying a 10 percent ownership portion of Milwaukee, multiple sources inform Michael Ozanian and Jessica Golden of CNBC. The 6-foot-5 swingman out of Louisville spent 10 of his 12 pro seasons on the Bucks and was a key contributor during its Sidney Moncrief era as essentially a tough, defense-first Eastern Conference playoff out.

Across his 12 seasons, Bridgeman averaged 13.6 points on 47.5 percent field goal shooting and 84.6 percent foul line shooting, 3.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 0.8 steals, while appearing in 849 games.

After earning $2.95 million in salaries from 1975-87 in the league, Bridgeman grew his money immensely after hanging up his sneakers and now has an opportunity to buy into his old franchise.
